چکیده
The challenge in modeling and solving assembly planning problems lies integrating combinatorial optimization techniques for finding efficient task sequences resource assignments with geometrical reasoning to ensure the technological feasibility of plans. This paper proposes a Benders decomposition approach that separates macro-level problem, responsible sequencing assignment, from micro-level validation on detailed models. Feedback micro macro level is provided form disjunctive constraints generated during search, which precludes repeated occurrence collisions encountered earlier iterations. Solving Practical Reasoning Poblems with Extended Disjunctive Logic Programming
We present a de nition of stable generated models for extended generalized logic programs (EGLP) which a) subsumes the de nition of the answer set semantics for extended normal logic programs [GL91]; and b) does not refer to negation-as-failure by allowing for arbitrary quanti er free formulas in the body and in the head of as rule (i.e. does not depend on the presence of any speci c connective...
متن کاملDisjunctive Programming
In April 1967 I and my family arrived into the US as fresh immigrants from behind the Iron Curtain. After a fruitful semester spent with George Dantzig’s group in Stanford, I started working at CMU. My debut in integer programming and entry ticket into Academia was the additive algorithm for 0-1 programming [B65], an implicit enumeration procedure based on logical tests akin to what today goes ...
متن کاملExtending Disjunctive Logic Programming by T-norms
This paper proposes a new knowledge representation language, called QDLP, which extends DLP to deal with uncertain values. A certainty degree interval (a subinterval of [0; 1]) is assigned to each (quantitative) rule. Triangular norms (T -norms) are employed to define calculi for propagating uncertainty information from the premises to the conclusion of a quantitative rule. Negation is consider...
متن کاملDisjunctive Logic Programming as
Earlier, we have proposed a logic, called priority logic 16, 18], where a theory consists of a collection of logic programming-like inference rules (without default negation) and a priority constraint among them. We showed that nonmonotonic reasoning in general can be viewed as a reasoning based on selecting monotonic inferences that satisfy the speciied priority constraints. The goal of this p...
متن کاملProbabilistic Disjunctive Logic Programming
In this paper we propose a framework for combining Disjunctive Logic Programming and Poole's Probabilistic Horn Abduction. We use the concept of hypothesis to spec ify the probability structure. We consider the case in which probabilistic information is not available. Instead of using probability intervals, we allow for the specification of the probabilities of disjunctions. Because mini mal ...
